Women's Bowling Earns Top Three Finish at Western Shootout

Indianapolis, IN – The Lawrence Technological women's bowling team earned themselves a top-three finish over the weekend at the Western Shootout - Western Bowl out of 22 teams. The team finished with a final score of 5258 (911, 880, 930, 865, 838, 834). 

The top bowler for LTU was Laurin Prebelich earning herself a fifth-place finish with a total score of 1186 (191, 188, 225, 178, 223, 181). Her tournament average for the weekend was 197.66. Victoria Giardina also had some impressive numbers finishing with a total score of 1106 (190, 166, 207, 198, 174, 171) with a tournament average of 184.33 coming in 19th place. The third-best bowler for the Blue Devils at 1029 was Bailey Gipson in 41st place.

Some other notable bowlers were Daniella DeCruydt who bowled five games with a total of 813, Sydney Clark completed her weekend with a total of 687, Rachel Iha 302, and Caroline Holowenko at 135. 

The next event for the women is Saturday, October 30th at the AHBA - Super Bowl Lanes in Canton, MI. This event will begin at 9 AM.
