Jackson, MI – The #2 Lawrence Technological women's bowling team took second place out of 10 teams in the second WHAC Jamboree on Saturday.
The Blue Devils recorded a team score of 7040, 56 pins behind first-place Indiana Tech.
Lawrence Tech posted scores of 922, 1056, 973, and 821 in its four traditional games before adding scores of 822, 784, 748, 854 in their four baker games.
The Blue Devils game one score of 1056 was the highest single-game mark of the event.
Laurin Prebelich earned a second-place finish for LTU posting a total score of 825, with her best score of 256 coming in her second game.
Bailey Gipson (791) finished just behind Prebelich, also in the top-five, in fourth-place out of 108 bowlers. Allison Clark (770) also netted a top-ten finish, ranking seventh.
Other notables for the Blue Devils were Caroline Holowenko (11th), Danielle DeCruydt (13th), Victoria Giardina (16th), Sydney Clark (18th), and Grace Tefend (19th).
The Blue Devils return to action Saturday, November 27 for the St. Clair Bowl Team Match Games.
