Allentown, Pa. - The #8 Lawrence Technological University women's bowling team competed in the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker on Monday and Tuesday. Out of six teams, the women finished the tournament in the top spot for the fourth time this season. This was the team's first Tier 1 win in school history.
The team finished with an overall team score of 8168.
Laurin Prebelich was the top bowler for LTU for the second straight tournament and earned a second-place overall finish with scores of 188, 242, 186, 171, and 189 with an average of 195.2.
In the next spot behind her was teammate Bailey Gipson finishing in the third overall spot bowling scores of 171, 163, 201, 219, and 212. With an average of 193.2.
Sydney Clark followed suit finishing in fourth overall place with bowls of 235, 189, 183, 162, 191. Her average on the weekend was 192.
Rounding out the top five was Victoria Giardina posting scores of 197, 172, 188, 194, and 192. She averaged 188.6.
Finishing in 23rd place was Allison Clark bowling scores of 162, 168, 165, and 129 for an average of 160.25.
There were 40 total bowlers for the women this weekend.
The next Blue Devils bowling event is on Wednesday, December 29th when they will compete at the Lehigh Valley Classic (Tier 1). This event is in Allentown, PA.
