Allentown, PA - The #8 Lawrence Technological University women's bowling team competed in the Lehigh Valley Classic Roto Grip Keystone Quaker on Wednesday and Thursday. Out of 12 teams, the women finished the tournament in second overall place.
The team finished with a team score of 4365 and finished with a total baker score of 3735. The team earned a final overall score of 8100.
Bailey Gipson was the top LTU bowler coming in fourth place posting scores of 190, 146, 210, 159, and 235 for a total score of 940. She averaged 188 per bowl.
Teammate Victoria Giardina finished in seventh place with an overall score of 903 bowling scores of 169, 204, 186, 151, and 193 earning a total score of 903. Giardina's average was 180.6.
Sydney Clark rounded out the top-10 finishing in ninth place overall. Clark bowled scores of 169, 131, 189, 212, and 182 giving herself a total of 883. Her average on the two days was 176.6
Laurin Prebelich finished in 20th place posting scores of 222, 208, 132, and 157 for a total of 719. She averaged 179.75.
Carly Dlugos and Caroline Holowenko finished with total scores of 469 and 357.
There were 47 total bowlers for the women this weekend.
The next Blue Devils bowling event is on Saturday, January 15th when they travel to Addison, IL to compete in the Kegal Midwest Collegiate Classic. (Tier 1).
