CUMBERLANDS, Kentucky- Women's Lacrosse hit I-75 and headed south to Cumberlands, Kentucky, for a Top-10 battle on Friday. The result was an early lopsided game that turned into a shootout between both teams, with Cumberlands beating the Blue Devils 12-10 late.

Kady Waits led the team today with 5 goals, while Ashley Sherry had 4 goals, and Bella Van Buren had 1 goal on Friday. Overall the Blue Devils had 19 shots on goal, 14 ground balls, 11 draw controls, and 22 turnovers in the loss Friday. The Blue Devils saw action from two goalies Friday, with Sydney Lincoln getting the start in net, giving up 7 goals in 40 minutes of action. They turned to Dorie Cogin for the last 20 minutes of action, with Sydney out for the Blue Devils. Cogin would give up 5 goals on Friday. The Blue Devils, in total, had 6 saves on Friday.

Looking forward, the Blue Devils are back in action on Mar. 17th against longtime rival Davenport University in Grand Rapids first draw is slated for 6:00 pm.
