GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.- Women's Lacrosse headed to the West End for the second time in a week to take on the #2 seed Aquinas Saints in the WHAC Women's Lacrosse Semifinals Playoff game Thursday night. The result was a 20-6 thrashing by the Blue Devils to move on to Championship Saturday.

The top scorers for the Blue Devils on Thursday night were Abby Smentowski with 6 goals and Anna Foley with 5 goals. Other top scorers for the Blue Devils were Bella Van Buren with 4 goals and Kady Waits with 3 goals. Ashley Sherry and Kaylee Patterson each accounted for a goal as well. Anna Foley also accounted for 5 assists on Thursday, and Abby Smentowski also had 3 assists.

Lawrence Tech led in three categories: shots with 37,  ground balls with 25, and draw controls with 14 on Thursday evening. The Blue Devils were also 16-16 in clears Thursday.

Looking ahead, the Blue Devils will take on Siena Heights for the Championship at Blue Devils Stadium, with the first draw set for 1 pm.
