#2 Women's Bowling Takes First Place at AHBA 4

Toledo, Ohio - The #2 Lawrence Technological University women's bowling team competed in the AHBA 4 on Saturday. The women's team finished with a total team score of 5021 along with the baker games total of 2547 for a grand total of 7568 to take first-place out of 11 teams.

Bailey Gipson was the best LTU bowler earning a top-two recording bowls of 269, 193, 237, 201, and 208 to finish with a total score of 1108.

Laurin Prebelich finished with a top-five finish with a total score of 1072. She bowled scores of 202, 245, 174, 206, and 245.

The next top Blue Devil was Victoria Giardina finishing in 13th place. Giardina registered scores of 269, 167, 170, 193, and 204 for an overall score of 1003.

Rachel Iha ended the day in the 21st spot bowling scores of 150, 160, 176, 257, and 203. Iha finished with 946 pins.

Sydney Clark finished with an overall score of 892.

There was a total of 76 bowlers for the women.

For the JV team, Allison Clark bowled an 1159 for an average of 231.8 to have the LTU high score on the day.

The next Blue Devils bowling match is Saturday, February 5th for the WHAC 4 - Lenawee Rec. This event will take place in Adrian, Michigan at 9 AM.
