Men’s Tennis Defeated by Ferris State

DETROIT, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University men's tennis team squared off against the Ferris State Bulldogs.

Eivind Tandberg and Nils Hammarsten dropped their 1-doubles match by a 2-6 score
Pedro Garcia-Orellana and Evan Morgan won their 2-doubles match 6-4
Thierry Luthi and Takuya King were defeated in 3-doubles match 4-6 to give the lone doubles point to Ferris State
Orellana-Garcia was dispatched his 4-singles opponent 5-7, 1-6
A slow start for Tandberg in 1-singles made a comeback unlikely, dropping the first set 1-6, but he returned to a good form before dropping the second set 6-7 (5)
Hammarsten lost a tiebreaker in the first set of 3-singles, 6-7 (2), then dropped the second set 2-6 giving the Bulldogs victory.
Morgan battled in the first set, losing 5-7 before his 2-sones opponent made quick work in the 1-6 second set.
Diego Colombo lost his 6-singles match (4-6, 1-6).
King finished out his 5-singles match with a third set super tiebreaker loss, 2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (12-10).

The Blue Devils (1-1) will enjoy a long break before returning to the courts in February.
