Jackson, Mich - The #4 Lawrence Technological University women's bowling team competed at the WHAC 4 - JAX 60 bowling event on Saturday. The team bowled scores of 892, 875, 851, and 835. In the baker games, LTU bowled scores of 684, 762, 808, and 745 for a grand total score of 6452. The Blue Devils were 182 pins short of a first-place finish.
Laurin Prebelich was the top LTU bowler finishing in third place on the day bowling scores of 195, 200, 172, and 181. Prebelich total score was 748.
Sydney Clark ended the sixth spot with an overall score of 726. Clark recorded scores of 193, 170, 204, and 159.
Finishing in 11th place was Caroline Holowenko after bowls of 178, 165, 184, and 184. Her overall score was 711.
Victoria Giardina finished inside the top-20 with a total of 699. Giardina's four games resulted in scores of 193, 149, 168, and 189.
In 20th place, was Allison Clark with scores of 152, 156, 203, and 180 for a total score of 691.
In 22nd place, was Leah Williams with a final score of 689.
Carly Dlugos finished with a total of 667, and Grace Spondike ended with a final score of 665.
The next Blue Devils bowling event is on Friday, February 18th when they compete in the Hoosier Classic (Tier 1) - Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Indiana. This event will begin at TBA.
