Men's Lacrosse Late Fight Not Enough

Box Score West Palm Beach, FL - The Lawrence Technological University men's lacrosse team traveled down to West Palm Beach, FL and played against (RV) Webber International University on Monday afternoon. The men's late push to try and come back was a little too late as they would drop this game by a final score of 13-10.

Webber International would go up early 2-0 in the first period just five minutes into action.
In the next seven minute stretch, LTU only had one missed shot as both teams went scoreless.
The Blue Devils got on the board with 3:40 to play in the first after a Ryan Fleury goal.
Minutes later, Grady Holmes was able to tie the game up at two, assisted by Eli Lozinski.
After one, LTU was down 3-2.
The Warriors took a 4-2 lead at the 8:44 mark in the second.
Holmes second goal made it 4-3 just possessions later.
Before the second period ended, the Blue Devils were a man up, and Tehaluntasele Cornelius found the back of the net.
With under a minute to play in the second period, Cornelius snuck another one past the goalie to knot the game up at five.
LTU would then go scoreless in the third period on 13 shots that were stopped by Ayden Kulick of Webber International.
The Blue Devils entered the fourth period down 9-5.
In the first two minutes of the fourth, the Warriors extended their lead to 11-5.
Cornelius scored his third goal of the game and Damian Hudson also scored with 11:44 left to cut the lead to 11-7. 
Two unanswered goals by Webber made it 13-7.
With a man up at the eight minute mark, Holmes ripped one past the keeper.
A late push by the Blue Devils in the remaining minutes was not enough after Cornelius scored his fourth goal of the game and Ryan Pastorino scored as well.
LTU would do down by a final score of 13-10.

The next Blue Devils matchup is on Wednesday, March 9th when they play #1 Reinhardt University at Keiser Multi-Purpose Field in West Palm Beach, Florida. The face off will drop at 1 PM.
