Box Score Hilton Head Island, SC - The (RV) Lawrence Technological University men's tennis team competed against (RV) Missouri Valley College on Tuesday afternoon. The men held their ground all match and were able to upset the Vikings by a final of 5-2.

In the first doubles match on the day, Nils Hammarsten and Evan Morgan lost a close one by a score of 7-5.
Patrick Putschbach and Jannis Schneider were able to lead LTU to get a win by a final of 7-6 in their doubles match.
In the final doubles match, Alexander Tammaro and Luca Roth dropped their match resulting in a score of 6-2.

In the men singles match, Hammarsten took the victory in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.
Tammaro went to three sets and would drop set one 1-6, and win set two 6-1. Tammaro went to a super set tiebreaker in the third tp win 10-8.
In the third singles match, Pedro Garcia-Orellana went the distance as he won by a final of 7-5, 1-6, 10-5 (super set tiebreaker).
Morgan also went to the final third set to come out on top in a close on by a scores of 7-6, 4-6, 10-7 (super set tiebreaker).
Schneider would lose a close on in his singles match, 6-4, 4-6, 3-10 (super set tiebreaker)
In the final singles match for the Blue Devils, Putschbach also went to a three set super set tiebreaker to win, 6-3, 3-6, 10-5.

(RV) LTU would best (RV) Missouri Valley by a final score of 5-2.

The next Blue Devils match is on Wednesday, March 9th when they play Georgetown College (KY.) at Spring Tennis Fest in Hilton Head Island, SC. This match will begin at 1 PM.
