Southfield, MI - Lawrence Technological University softball head coach Karen Baird is part of the Class of 2022 Inductees that will go into the Northville High School Hall of Fame in October.

Coach Baird came to LTU as the second head coach in program history back in July of 2017. 

Baird was a three-time multi-sport athlete in high school competing in soccer, basketball and softball. Her softball team won the district championship her senior year while the basketball team won the district championship during her sophomore year. 

On the honor, Baird said "she was honored to be surrounded by really good athletes and incredible teammates. They all complimented each other, and we all had a lot of fun." She continued by saying "her coaches always pushed her and the team to be better every day." 

Being inducted into the Hall of Fame with her basketball coach is also special moment for Coach Baird. The Northville native shared that "she had a great experience in high school with her teammates and continues to keep in touch and reminisce with them to this day."
