Marion, IN – The Lawrence Technological University men's tennis team made quick work of Missouri Baptist on Saturday, breezing to a 5-0 win at the IWU Spring Invitational.
At 3-doubles, Tammaro/Roth won 6-2 before Putschbach/Schneider doubled up their opponents 6-3 to secure the lone doubles point.
Alexander Tammaro was able to recover from a 3-6 first set loss to win 7-5, 10-7 at 2-singles while Pedro Garcia Orellana won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2 at 3-singles.
Jannis Schneider also won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3 at 4-singles as
Evan Morgan used a super tiebreaker to win his top-flight match 6-4, 3-6, 12-10.
The Blue Devils will head pack to Marion on Wednesday, April 6
th for the Doc Richards Tournament.
