Box Score 2 FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological University softball team used great offensive outputs to take both games of a double header against Rochester.
How It Happened:
Game One
Inside the Numbers;
- Brandt pitched well once again: (W) 5 IP, 5 H, 1ER, 1 BB, 6 K.
- The every hitter in the Blue Devils' lineup each recorded a run scored.
- LTU outhit RU 13-5.
Game Two
- A pair of singles by Hige and Tatum started the Blue Devils off, two double steals would score Hige
- James hit a sac fly to score Tatum
- Wehler doubled in two to give the Blue Devils an early 4-0 lead
- Powrozek would bring Wehler in, and LTU would get five runs before recording the second out of the first inning
- The Blue Devils would tack on nine more runs in the first
- LTU scored three more in the second to take a 17-0 lead
- Two more runs for the Blue Devils
- Grace Roeske started and pitched 3.1, allowing only two hits, to earn the victory
- Grace Schriber faced five batters in relief, striking out one batter and allowing one hit

Lawrence Tech finishes their regular season on Sunday, May 1st, resuming a suspended game against Cleary, where they lead 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning.
