CANTON, Mich.--The Lawrence Tech women's bowling team had a successful resumption of competition on Saturday after being idle for the last three weeks by placing fourth out of 15 schools at the American Heartland Bowling Association 1 event held at Super Bowl Lanes. The Blue Devils knocked down 6,629 pins.
Junior
Rachel Iha led the way for the Blue Devils with a third-place tie (998 pins) out of 96 individuals, and she was also the top performer out of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Freshman
Brooke Kochel placed seventh with a 972 score.
Faith Harding of Bowling Green State University was the medalist with a 1036, and Davenport won the team portion with a 7025.
Lawrence Tech has a quick turnaround competing in the AHBA 2 event tomorrow.
