WEST CHESTER, Penn. - The Lawrence Technological Blue Devils women's hockey team faced off against the West Chester University Golden Rams. The Blue Devils showed them who's boss, taking them to the woodshed in a 14-0 drubbing.
The Blue Devils put up a 10 spot in the first period, including a hat-trick for Jordyn Bebus in the period. Sophia Buckberger also had 2 goal in the first, for 5 goal between the two. Theresa DiMaggio, Sydney Lochow, Kathleen Fennessy, Katelyn Moreland and Kristin McQueen also scored in the first.
In the second period, Athena Chapman and Valeria Ortega added to the scoring party, while Buckberger joined the hat-trick club for the night.
Buckberger would add a fourth goal for herself to cap off a stellar night (4 goals, 2 assists).
Rachel Hart took on 8 shots and got the save for all of them in what was her first career collegiate start.
DiMaggio (1 goal, 3 assists) also had a stellar performance with 4 points Â
