Juliana Bollini has been named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators NAIA Academic All-District® Team and now advances for national consideration to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
A Romeo (Mich.) High School graduate, Bollini earned second-team All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference honors after leading the team with 507 digs, ranking third in both assists (84) and service aces (31). In her first year as a starter, the defensive specialist racked up the third-most digs in a LTU single-season, led the WHAC with 5.25 digs per set and sixth by total while being 75th in the NAIA. She also was chosen the WHAC Defensive Player of the Week#1 after compiling 5.77 digs per set on the first weekend of the season.
Majoring in architecture, Bollini has earned Academic All-WHAC and is a 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athlete.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® women's volleyball honorees will be announced on Jan. 9. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
