Augusta, Mich - The Lawrence Tech men's golf squad headed out to Stoatin Brae Golf Club for the WHAC Preview Tournament. The Blue Devils shot a team score of 285 in round 1 on Stoatin Brae Golf Course, finishing in first place, 12 shots ahead of second place Rochester University. The Blue Devils move on, to play Lourdes University in round 2, who took fourth place in the first round and shot a team score of 301. The Blue Devils almost clean swept Lourdes in round 2 as they went 4.5 - 0.5 in match play.  

Leading the way for LTU in the first round was graduate student Luis Pacheco (68) as he also took first place in the match. Right behind Pacheco, sophomore Santiago Herrero (70), placed third. Placing 6th was senior Anthony Zeitler (72).

In round two against Lourdes, Luis Pacheco, Anthony Zeitler, Santiago Herrero, and senior Bruno Vicente all won their matches. Senior Liam McEvoy tied his match. 

Complete results are not yet available. The Blue Devils will play in round 3 Tuesday morning against University of Northwestern Ohio.
