Women's Bowling Places in Upper Half at USBC Tier 1 Hoosier Classic

The Blue Devils knocked down 8,224 total pins at the 66-school event

INDIANAPOLIS--The Lawrence Tech women's bowling team knocked down a total of 8,224 pins to earn a 26th-place finish at the 66-school Hoosier Classic, which is an United States Bowling Congress tier 1 event, here at the Western Bowl on Sunday. COMPLETE RESULTS

The Blue Devils were led by freshman Brooke Kochel who was 39th out of 471 individual entries. She rolled 1229 pins over six games, including a series high 221 in Game 4.

After Day 1 at the event on Saturday, LTU was 21st with 5617 pins.

Lawrence Tech hits the lanes again next Saturday for the Wolverine–Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, Mich., starting at 8:30 a.m.
