Nicholasville, Ky. - The Lawrence Tech
men's golf squad headed out to Nicholasville, Kentucky for the Spring Arbor Garn Championship on Monday. LTU facing ranked schools like no.13 ranked Campbellsville, no. 21 Marian, RV Cumberlands (Ky.), RV Indiana Wesleyan, RV Tennessee Wesleyan, and RV Northwestern Ohio.
The Blue Devils shot a team score of 314 placing forth in the opening 18 holes, 318 in round 2, and 319 in round 3.
Campbellsville took first place with a team score of 310+310+304=924.
Leading the way for LTU was senior
Liam McEvoy (74+75+74), finishing in second place. Behind McEvoy was graduate student
Luis Pacheco (78+80+80) and senior
Bruno Vicente (79+80+82). Junior
Martin Wing (83+83+83) and senior
Anthony Zeitler (85+84+83) also competed for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils will be back in action on April 5 & 6 to host the LTU Battle at the Brae.
