Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Lawrence Technological University men's tennis team traveled to face Millersville University to start their spring break.

Redwane Bouhajda lost the 3-doubles match against Castro/ de Koning 6-1.
Evan Morgan/
Juan Jose Escriba Pastor were defeated by Pernia/Morin in the top-flight battle 6-3, giving the point to Millersville

Rafael Rezende Mendes earned a 7-5 victory against Maciel/Suarez.
In singles:
Morgan saw te super tiebreaker in the top-flight, but took down Pernia 6-2, 2-6, 10-6
3-seeded Haurez passed up Morin in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.
Escriba Pastor battled, but ultimately won the 4-singles match against 1-6, 6-3, 10-6.
2-seeded Boivin dropped Maciel in 3 sets, 3-6, 6-1, 10-8, securing the victory for LTU.
In the top flight, Morgan lost the first set against Riera Galindo, but came away victorious 3-6, 6-1, 10-8. This secured a Blue Devil victory.
5-seeded Rezende Mendes fell to Ebner, 6-0, 6-2.
Bouhajda's 6-singles match quickly dispatched Suarez 6-2, 6-3
The Blue Devils claim their first victory of their spring season with a 7-0.
Coach Mertz on the match: "The guys started a bit slow in doubles, but really turned it around for the singles' matches. They battled hard in a lot of positions and started off strong here in Hilton Head."
