Box Score SOUTHFIELD, MICH. -- The Lawrence Technological University women's lacrosse team hosted the Bethel Pilots in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference semifinals, with the winner cementing their place in the finals. LTU came in as the top seed in the tournament, and showed why, following a 15-8 victory over the 5-seeded Bethel.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Blue Devils took a 3-0 lead before trading the last 4 goals of the first
- LTU led as much as 9-2 in the first half, before closing it out 10-4
- Lawrence Tech took a 14-4 lead in the fourth, allowing for a running clock
- Bethel scored 4 of the last 5 goals to make the game respectable in the closing moments
NOTES:
The Blue Devils will face Indiana Tech at home on Saturday. The game will start approximately 90 minutes after the men's game on Saturday.
