AUGUSTA, MIch. - The Lawrence Tech women's golf squad hosted all 12 WHAC schools for the WHAC Tournament at the Sronehedge Golf Course. LTU played round 1 and 2 Monday, shooting a team score of 311 in round 1 and a team score of 315 in round 2, finishing in second place.
University of Northwestern Ohio leads the playing field with a total score of 601.
Leading the way for LTU was freshman
Tanawan Vetchayanvivat (75+76=151), finishing in second. Following Vetchayanvivat is freshman
Alix Schickele (77+77=154) finishing in sixth place and freshman
Cadance Beuckelare (79+81=160) finishing in ninth place. Senior
Alanna Makarchuk (80+81=161) finished in 11th place and junior
Ella Smith (84+82=166) finished in 17th place.
The Blue Devils will compete in the third and final round Tuesday morning to see who will win the WHAC title.
