SOUTHFIELD, MICH. -- The Lawrence Technological University women's lacrosse team had two players celebrated by the IWLCA for their elite performances this past week.
Sydney Robinson, Attack (JR, Grand Haven, Mich.) ~ Robinson earns player of the week honors for her part in conference tournament victories against Bethel and #8 Indiana Tech.
Robinson set a school record for single season points (122) following a 15-point conference championship week
Jocelyn Vander Zwaag, Defense/MIdfield (SO, West Olive, Mich.) ~ Vander Zwaag earns player of the week honors for her part in conference tournament victories against Bethel and #8 Indiana Tech
Vander Zwaag played well on both sides of the field, racking up 7 goals on offense along with 6 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers over the coference tournament.
The Blue Devils return to action on Wednesday, May 1, against Benedictine in the NAIA Tournament.
