Box Score 2 ADRIAN, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech softball team headed out to Siena Heights on Saturday for another WHAC double header.The Blue Devils split the day with falling in game 1, 3-2 and winning game 2, 14-0 in 5 innings. Lawrence Tech is now 5-3 in conference and 16-17 on their overall season. The Saints are now 1-1 in conference and 8-10 on their overall season.
Game 1:
Siena Heights took the early lead scoring first in the first inning. Junior
Gloriana Su'a hit a double in the fourth inning, scoring sophomore Chloe Hig to tie the game up. The Saints broke the tie in the sixth inning scoring a run off of a wild pitch. Su'a hit a home run in the seventh inning to tie the game back up. However the Saints broke the tie and won the game in the bottom of the seventh. Su'a, Hug, and freshman
Abby Gardner all hit doubles in game 1. Sophomore
Mikayla Timm pitched for the Blue Devils, allowing 4 hits for the Saints and 2 runs scored. Timm struck out 2 Saints in 5.1 innings pitched. Freshman
Sarah Basket closed out the game for the Blue Devils, allowing 1 hit and 1 run scored for the Saints in 1.1 innings pitched.
Game 2:
The Blue Devils came for revenge in game 2, starting strong scoring three runs in the first inning. Lawrence Tech kept the pressure going strong in the second inning scoring seven more runs, making the score 10-0 in just two innings played. The Blue Devils went on to score two more runs in third inning and two more in the fifth. Freshman

The Blue Devils are back in action Sunday on the road again at Lourdes for another WHAC double header at 1 and 3pm.
