Box Score SAVANNAH, GA.-- The Lawrence Technological University women's lacrosse team faced 2-seeded University of the Cumberlands in the NAIA National Semifinals.
This marked the second time this season that the Patriots and Blue Devils faced off this season, with Cumberlands coming out ahead on March 18 by a 12-9 score in Southfield.
Lawrence Tech made good on the second go at it, defeating U of C by the score of 13-8
The Blue Devils rattled off 5 straight goals multiple times, scoring 10-of-11 in an 18 minute span to create an insurmountable advantage.
The Blue Devils continue their title defense on Saturday, facing top-seeded Reinhardt at 1 pm.
