DALTON, Ga. - The Lawrence Tech men's golf squad headed out to Dalton Golf and Country Club for the NAIA Championship Tournament. The Blue Devils shot a team score of 319 in round 1, finishing in 23rd place out of 30 schools.
Keiser took the lead in day 1 with a team score of 291.
Leading the way for LTU was senior
Liam McEvoy (75), shooting 3 over par. Senior
Bruno Vicente (79), sophomore
Santiago Herrero (81), graduate student
Luis Pacheco (84), and sophomore
Martin Wing (86) got the opportunity to play as well.
The Blue Devils will look for improvement tomorrow when they tee off at 8:30 a.m.
