| By:
OPELIKA, Ala. - The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils showcased their skills at the LTU Spring Break Invite in Opelika, Ala., at the Grand National GCS, finishing an admirable 4th place among tough competitors such as Dalton State, Cumberlands, Doane, Faulkner, UT Southern, St. Thomas (FL), and Oakland City on March 14, 2025.

Sophomore Tanawan Vetchayanvivat led the charge for the Blue Devils with an impressive 5th place finish, shooting rounds of 78, 81, and 74. Her performance was a standout during the three-day event, highlighting the team's depth and talent. Other notable contributions came from freshmen Claire Hollingsworth and seniors and sophomores who competed both in teams and individually, ensuring the Blue Devils remained competitive throughout the event.

Despite not clinching the top spot, the performances of freshmen Liza Bogard and Alivia Kolenda, alongside senior Alanna Makarchuk, who competed individually, were critical in maintaining the team's strong showing. Their efforts were instrumental in the team's strategic play and overall success.

Looking ahead, the Blue Devils are set to compete next at the LTU Heritage Hill Collegiate in Shepherdsville, Ky., at the Heritage Hill Golf Course on March 21, 2025. The team is determined to build on their recent performance and continue their pursuit of excellence in the upcoming events.
