ST. LOUIS, Mo. - In a dominating performance, the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils triumphed over the Sacred Heart University Pioneers with a decisive 6-1 victory in the ACHA National Championship Pool Play held at NHL Arena-CCIC on March 19, 2025.
The Blue Devils set the tone early, ending the first period leading 2-0 with goals from Patrick Mcgowan and
Jeff Rand. Their momentum continued into the second period, where Mcgowan added another to his tally alongside
Trevor Losier, making it 4-1. The third period saw
Luke Radu and
Sawyer Walker seal the win for Lawrence Tech. Patrick Mcgowan, noted for his game-winning goal, was among the key players of the night.
Assists were plentiful with
Luke Radu setting up three goals across the game and contributions from
Josh Pedersen,
Benjamin De Haas,
Timothy Young, and
