BRIGHTON, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils women's golf team showcased their skills at the Stroke Play event held at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, MI, on April 14, 2025. The Blue Devils emerged victorious, securing 1st place with a team score of 323, outperforming competitors from Cleary, Siena Heights, Lourdes, Cornerstone, Michigan-Dearborn, Indiana Tech, and Concordia (MI).

Key individual performances played a pivotal role in this triumph. Tanawan Vetchayanvivat led the team, finishing the course with a score of 78 (+7), which also earned her the first place individually. Supporting her were Cadance Beuckelare with an 80 (+9), Claire Hollingsworth scoring 81 (+10), Alix Schickele with 84 (+13), and Ella Smith, who completed her round at 87 (+16).

The key moment of the event was when Tanawan Vetchayanvivat clinched the top position, a significant achievement for the Blue Devils Team. The success at this event not only highlights the team's excellence but also sets a high standard as they look forward to the WHAC Championship, scheduled for April 21, 2025, at Stonehedge North Golf Club in Augusta, Mich.
