YPSILANTI - Mich. - The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils, representing the women's golf team, participated in the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship Tournament on May 14, 2025, at Eagle Crest GC. The weather conditions were ideal, clear with a temperature of 66°F, providing a perfect setting for the championship.
Throughout the tournament, the Blue Devils faced tough competition and concluded the event ranked 29th with a total score of 677. Despite the challenging field, several players from Lawrence Tech delivered notable performances. Sophomore
Tanawan Vetchayanvivat led the team with a commendable score of 75, finishing at +3 over par. Following her, freshmen
Claire Hollingsworth ended the day with a score of 83, which was +11 over par. Sophomore
Cadance Beuckelare, sophomore
Alix Schickele, and senior
Ella Smith each carded a score of 85, all finishing +13 over par.
These individual scores reflect the high level of competition and the challenging conditions faced by the athletes.
