NAIA Announces Women's Lacrosse All-American Teams with Four Blue Devils Making the List

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced their end of year women's lacrosse All-Americans, with 3 Blue Devils as first team All-Americans and 1 as second team All-American. 

Senior Sydney Robinson from Grand Haven, Michigan, senior Alaina Smythe from Novi, Michigan, and junior Jocelyn Vander Zwaag from West Olive, Michigan are all first team All-Americans. Robinson, a attacker for the Blue Devils, lead the team in points with 93, 44 goals and 49 assists in 15 games played this season. She also had 30 ground balls and 77 draw controls. The midfielder, Smythe, scored 65 goals and had 16 assists for a total of 81 points in 13 games played. Alaina also accumulated 38 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers, and 20 draw controls. On the defensive end, Vander Zwaag scored 1 goal, 4 assists, 5 points, 48 ground balls, 33 caused turnovers, and 35 draw controls in 15 games played. 

Senior Hannah Huebner from Caledonia, Michigan is a second team All-American. Huebner, the attacker, had 33 goals and 24 assists for a total of 57 points in 15 goals played. She also had 30 ground balls and 6 caused turnovers.
