MARION, Ind. – September 24–27, 2025. Lawrence Tech's men's and women's tennis programs, led by head coach Griffin Mertz, turned in a slate of quality results at the 2025 ITA MIDWEST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University. The Blue Devils notched main-draw and consolation victories across singles and doubles.

Women's Highlights

Singles

• Claudia Calabuig (So., Villena, Spain) — def. Oakland City in R64, 1-6, 7-6(7-2), [10-8] (gritty comeback to advance).
• Isabella Aray (So., Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela) — def. Taylor in R64, 6-2, 6-2 (commanding straight-sets win).
• Jacqueline Alcocer (Sr., Tuscaloosa, Ala.) — def. Marian in Consolation R32, 8-3.
• Paola Herrera Rivera (Jr., Tabasco, Mexico) — def. St. Francis (IN) in Consolation R32, 8-1; then def. Indiana Wesleyan in Consolation R16, 8-3 (two strong pro-set victories).

Doubles (Consolation)
