HOW IT HAPPENED

LTU dominated from the beginning of the game, going on three straight unanswered goals for the first ten minutes of the game. Then, WPU found the back of the net for the first time in their school history. Ending the first quarter, LTU was up 4-1.

The third was graced with only Blue Devils scoring, including Mullins scoring twice, including a shot from up top with eight second to go to force the lead 11-2.

The fourth quarter opened with Muscat finding the back of the net, quickly followed by Ryan Pastorino, and then proceed by another goal from Nolan within a span of one minute. A minute after this series, Nolan, with assist from Dylan Couture. With time ticking down, Pastorino, with assists from Aidan Boeve, closed the game for LTU. While William Penn gave it one more shot and found a hole past Trent, the game concluded with LTU going home with a 16-3 win.
