Alma, MI - The Lawrence Technological University men's tennis team took on Alma College.

In doubles play, Patrick Putschbach / Jannis Schneider defeated Thomas Manko / Walker Michaels 8-1. 

Alex Tammaro / Nils Hammarsten also defeated their Alma counterparts Caleb Schuring / Brenden Murdie by the same 8-1 margin.

Alex Rajal / Luca Roth made it a clean sweep in doubles, taking down August Sack / Noah Festerling 8-3.

The Blue Devils took a 3-0 lead going into singles play.

In the top flight singles match, Alex Tammaro made quick work of Caleb Schuring (6-0, 6-0) for the fourth LTU point of the morning.

Pedro Garcia-Orellana sweeps his 3-singles opponent Walker Michaels (6-0, 6-0), earning the Blue Devils' a victory.

The 2-singles match went in favor of Nils Hammarsten, upending August Sack (6-2, 6-1) to give Lawrence Tech a commanding 5-0 lead.

Jannis Schneider held off Thomas Manko (6-0. 6-2) in the 4-singles match.

Nicolas DaMotta skates past Brenden Murdie (6-3, 6-3) in the 5-singles match.

Merrick Bay knocks off Michael Gerace in 6-singles to salvage a point for Alma. 

Lawrence Tech wins the match 8-1.

The Blue Devils will take a hiatus and return to action in February.
