Southfield, MI - The Lawrence Technological University (Mich.) men's tennis team got back on track as they were able to control the whole match against Saint Francis (Ind.) University by a score of 6-0. Previously the men were on a five-game losing streak, but came out in this one with high energy and effort to get back in the win column. The team will look to build off this win heading into their next match, and use this momentum to stay focused.

In the #1 afternoon doubles match against Davenport, Alexander Tammaro and Jannis Schneider started a little sluggish in their match as they lost their match 2-6. Following their doubles win, in the #2 doubles match, Lukas Obel and Kevin Bollmann as they were the ones to set the tempo on the day for their team. They finished their match beating their opponent 6-2. Alex Rajal and Luca Roth won by default as St. Francis did not have a team in this match. 

In afternoon singles matches, Tammaro was the first singles match, and coming off his double's loss, he did not want to end his day losing two matches. He controlled the pace of play all match, and won by a final of 6-2, 6-4. Schneider was next up for the Blue Devils, in singles match #2, and he earned his win by beating his opponent 6-2, 6-2. Bollmann continued the trend to keep the win streak alive where his match was a very quick one, defeating his matchup by a final of 6-1, 6-0. 

LTU will be back to the courts Sunday morning, March 28th on the road where they will play conference opponent, Aquinas College.
