Box Score Hilton Head Island, SC - The Lawrence Technological University women's tennis team competed against Thomas More University on Sunday afternoon resulting in a 5-2 win for the Blue Devils.

The first doubles match of the day was Samantha Weber and Maria Nicholls as they would fall short by a score of 6-2.
Olga Aliagas Mejina and Alice Radde was the next doubles match as they went on to win 7-6.
Margot Fontaine and Angela Anderanin was the final match of the doubles resulting in a Blue Devil win 6-0.

Weber led things off going the distance to a super set tiebreaker. Weber lost the first set 6-0, then came back to win the next two by a final of 7-6, 10-1 (super set tiebreaker).
Nicholls lost in straight sets to Raman Dail by a final of 6-2, 6-0.
Anderanin went down in straight sets as well by a score of 6-0, 6-0. 
In the fourth singles match, Radde won easy resulting in a 6-1, 6-0 finish. 
Another win for the Blue Devils came after Aliagas Mejina beat her opponent 6-2, 6-2.
The final singles match of the day was Fontaine who won in straight sets 7-5, 6-3.

LTU would go on to beat Thomas More by a final score of 5-2.

The next Blue Devils match is Sunday, March 6th when they compete against Thomas More University. The match will be played at Spring Tennis Fest in Hilton Head Island, SC.
