Box Score SOUTHFIELD, MICH. — The Lawrence Technological University men's tennis team hosted the Lakers from Lake Superior State.

Redwane Bouhajda won the 3-doubles match against Sebastian Smith/Aaron Kur 6-1.
Antoine Haurez/
Takuya King earned the point for the Blue Devils, following a 6-0 victory against Caleb Kaytar/Fernando Espinosa.
Evan Morgan/
Juan Jose Escriba Pastor defeated Bret Bentley/Jaume Riera Galindo in the top-flight battle 7-6 (7-1), earning the sweep for LTU.
In singles:
3-seeded King hung straight 6-1 sets on Bentley.
2-seeded Boivin dropped Smith in straight 6-2 sets.
In the top flight, Morgan lost the first set against Riera Galindo, but came away victorious 3-6, 6-1, 10-8. This secured a Blue Devil victory.
4-seeded Haurez dismantled Espinosa, not allowing him to win a set.
Escriba Pastor won the 5-singles match against Kaytar, 6-3, 6-2.
Bouhajda's 6-singles match versus Ryan Loganadhan went three sets. Bouhajda completed the 7-0 sweep with a 6-1, 4-6, 10-2 score.
The Blue Devils claim their first victory of their spring season with a 7-0.
Coach Mertz on the match: "The guys played strong tennis from start to finish. They brought great energy to the courts and that propelled them to victory. I'm hoping for this match to be the spark for many more this season."
The Blue Devils return to action on Friday when they travel to Grand Rapids to face Davenport.
