ANN ARBOR, Mich.--The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) on Monday named Lawrence Technological University senior Liam McEvoy (The Vines, Perth) as the men's golf athlete of the week. 

In earning his first WHAC weekly honor this season and the sixth for LTU men's golf team, McEvoy finished in second place in the Spring Arbor Garn Championship, shooting a 74 in round one, 75 in round two, and 74 in round three, with a two-over tournament. The Blue Devils finished in fourth place in the Spring Arbor Championship, facing ranked teams like, no.13 ranked Campbellsville, no. 21 Marian, RV Cumberlands (Ky.), RV Indiana Wesleyan, RV Tennessee Wesleyan, and RV Northwestern Ohio. The Blue Devils shot a team score of 287+287+298=872 on Keene Trace Golf Club course.  

The Blue Devils are back in action on April 5-6 hosting the LTU Battle at the Brae at the Stoatin Brae Golf Club.
