Lima, Ohio - The Lawrence Technological University (Mich.) women's tennis team have now lost back to back matches after they suffered their loss against University of Northwestern Ohio on Saturday morning, February 27th with a final score of 1-4.
In the #1 morning doubles match against UNOH, Oona Kintscher and Samantha Kohn lost a very close match with a final score of 6-7 to Camila Puerte and Ana Cetina. In the #2 doubles match, Samantha Weber and Alice Radde lost to Gabriela Eva and Ellen Sandtroem by a final score of 4-6.
In the morning singles matches, Kintscher was LTU's first single player to compete, and lost in straight sets with a final score of 0-6, 3-6. Kohn competed against Ana Cetina, but came up short in her match with a final score of 0-6, 1-6. The teams third single match on the morning was Sam Weber, and she lost her match to Veronika Kavalchuk with a final score of 4-6, 3-6.
No result for the singles matchup of Alice Radde, and Eva Ramsimmer. LTU will be back to the courts Wednesday afternoon March 3rd where the match will begin at 12:00 PM as the team will travel to Findley, Ohio to play Findley University inside the Findley YMCA.
