SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Blue Devils have hit the recruiting portal hard this offseason. They are set to bring in 40 recruits from Michigan, Ohio, and Minnesota.
The quarterback room will get plenty of competition from recruits, such as Liam Patrick from Owosso High School. Liam was a 4-year varsity player at Owosso and brought in many awards for his performances. In 2025 alone, he was 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-Region, 2nd Team All-State, Detroit Free Press All-State HM, Lansing State Journal Dream Team, and Argus Press Player of the Year.
The DB room will also be getting some competition from recruits such as Hunter Likins from Marysville High School. Hunter is a 2025 MAC Gold First Team player who was voted 2025 Team Defensive Player of the Year. Hunter will also be bringing his skills to the classroom, as he was Academic All-State in 2025.
The O-Line room is likely what the Blue Devils hit the hardest in recruiting, bringing in 6 fresh faces including Maddux Byard from Highland High School in Ohio. Maddux played varsity for 2 years at Highland where he earned 1st Team Central District of Ohio, 1st Team Region 11 of Ohio, 2nd Team NCOFCA, 2nd Team MOAC, and All-Ohio HM.
