The 1938 team included only three players who returned to the squad from the previous year. Despite the team’s lack of experience and injuries, LIT beat all of its conference rivals, earning the 1938 Michigan Ontario Collegiate Title – LTU’s second consecutive championship. The Team also placed five men on the All-Conference Team: Louis Jelsch (HOF ’13), Joe Laurich, Henry Mika, Tom Miller, and George Rolby.
